I am a honeybee

And my business is beauty

I am irresistibly drawn to

Color, fragrance and sweetness

When I’m in hot pursuit

I cannot hide my excitement

I vibrate audibly and wiggle

my tail in eagerness

I get all dirty with pollen

And don’t even bother

To wash it off

When I get tired

I just slow down

And take a little rest

Right here in the curved petals

Of this lovely flower

Ahh.

When I awake, its perfume

Is inside my lungs

As well as on my skin

So where does the bee stop

and the flower begin?

In this way of being

There is no distinction between

Work and usefulness over here and

Rest and play over there

For me, it is all the same thing

Who told you that

Creativity and beauty

are frivolous hobbies

and why did you believe them?

No.

Your passion is vital

And necessary for the world

Give in and know

The worth of your pursuits
